LAZY LYMPH

In the fight against Lyme disease, the immune system works very hard, however, with the accumulation of dying bacteria, cells are introduced into the lymphatic system.

As a result, the lymphatic system becomes clogged during acute infection. This is one of the causes of swollen lymph nodes. This can be compared to a highway jammed by cars during rush hours. The more efficiently the lymph removes dead bacteria, the stronger the immune system’s response is. In addition, some lymph parts strengthen the immune response. In the acute course of the disease, the phenomenon of the so-called lazy lymph may occur, hence its acceleration is necessary.
