CHLORELLA

Common names:

Chlorella

Traditional uses of Chlorella:

Chlorella is a natural microalgae and contains the highest concentration of chlorophyll found in all natural organisms. It is a rich source of vitamin B12, beta-carotene (provitamin A), proteins, amino acids, vitamins, minerals including: phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, calcium and trace elements such as: iron, manganese, zinc, molybdenum, copper and cobalt. It affects proper functioning of the immune system. Chlorella supports proper detoxification, through its unique cell structure, binds toxins and removes them from the body. It cleanses the body of toxins, heavy metals, chemicals and alcohol. Buhner recommends the use of chlorella during Herx reactions in the course of Lyme disease, because the acceleration of removal of toxins from the body reduces the severity of this reaction. It supports the maintenance of acid and alkaline balance in the body. Chlorella also has antioxidant properties and supports the development of useful intestinal microflora and their normal peristalsis.
