Isatis has the following effects:
- antibacterial, including action against Mycolpasma and Bartonelia,
- antiviral,
- antifungal,
- antiinflammatory,
- immunostimulatory,
- antipyretic,
- antioxidant,
- protects erythrocytes against microbial infection,
- cleanses the body of endotoxins.
Side effects:
In small doses, possible minor side effects, allergic reactions and dizziness. High doses or long-term use may be toxic to kidneys.
Contraindications:
Isatis cannot be used by pregnant women and during lactation.
