Isatis has the following effects:

  • antibacterial, including action against Mycolpasma and Bartonelia,
  • antiviral,
  • antifungal,
  • antiinflammatory,
  • immunostimulatory,
  • antipyretic,
  • antioxidant,
  • protects erythrocytes against microbial infection,
  • cleanses the body of endotoxins.


Side effects:

In small doses, possible minor side effects, allergic reactions and dizziness. High doses or long-term use may be toxic to kidneys.



Isatis cannot be used by pregnant women and during lactation.
