Boneset, Eupatorium perfoliatum.

Traditional uses of Boneset:

Immunostimulator – increases phagocytosis 4 times more effectively than Echinacea), diaphoretic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, mucosal regenerating, diastolic, cytotoxic, mildly emetic. It stimulates peripheral circulation, secretion of gastric juice, has a mild antibacterial effect.

Traditional uses of Boneset in the treatment of Babesia and Bartonella coinfections:

The boneset is a plant extremely useful in the treatment of co-infection with Babesia and Bartonella because it:

  • stimulates the immune system
  • normalizes the CD4 / CD8 ratio
  • actively protects myeloid macrophages and stimulates their production
  • reduces the incidence and intensification of periodic fevers, pains and other symptoms of the disease.

 

Side effects:

A hot brew in large doses may induce vomiting, while moderate dose may cause slight nausea. The colder the brew, the smaller the nausea. Apart from that, there are no side effects.
